Movie Alert.

There are some movies that basically sum up the boutique in terms of music, aesthetic and visuals.  This is a reason why Sofia Ford Copolla is one of our favourites and her new movie featuring Stephen Dorf called ‘Somewhere’ embodies this perfectly.

The Unknown Hipster.

Quickly becoming one of my favourite blogs, the Unkown Hipster recently did a review on the new MOMA exhibit, Marina Abramovic « The Artist Is Present ».  Not only was I mesmerized by his drawings, but the actual exhibit itself is fantastic.  While I’m not a huge fan of performance art necessarily this truly captures some incredible facial expressions, which can be seen here.

Here is the two part review.  The drawings are just brilliant.  I can’t help but love it for the details of the clothes.
