Envision this…
The year is 1989 and I’ve just finished ‘creating’ my first tie dye shirt. The look on my face is priceless. I’ve discovered how to create my own Greatful Dead shirts and life could NOT get any better. Little did I know this ‘phase’ in my life would last about 6 months, oddly enough, the lifecycle of some fashion pieces.
Fast forward to 2010…and they’ve updated a classic. At first I was skeptical…really? Tie Dye? No no…it’s dip dye now…ahhh so much better. But really it is so much better…suprisingly.
We were fortunate enough to grab a couple of pieces from both Travis Taddeo and Beta Unit for this spring summer and they did not disappoint. Drop by the store and check them out…oh and did we mention that they are on sale…

I don’t think I have extolled the virtues of owning a nice slim pair of jeans yet. However, this is something EVERY man should have in their wardrobe. I’m pretty picky about what denim I wear and usually keep it to only a couple of brands.
With that being said, we recently received a shipment of Beta Unit that included a pair of wax coated denim. I was skeptical at first, I mean is it possible to cheat on your favourite denim companies? The answer is a resounding yes. The fact these have 1% elastane gives it the perfect amount of stretch without cutting off the circulation. These jeans have already stretched out a bit and are quickly becoming a staple in my wardrobe. Its the perfect combination of comfort and style…
