UPC’s Look of the Week.

Posted in Fashion by upc boutique on August 12, 2010

While I may be a ‘bit’ biased, that shirt is absolutely killer.  I don’t extoll the virtues of how good Travis Taddeo’s stuff is nearly enough…regardless, from top to bottom that is by far one of my favourite outfits we’ve put together at the store.  Sometimes simple and less than more is obviously better…

The best part of these outfits is that they make the transition into fall perfectly, so it’s like you’re buying for more than one season.  See how easy it is to rationalize a purchase!

On her:
Margarita Saplala jam master pant $280
Faren silk tank $100
Alynne Lavigne cage necklace $495

On him:
Dark Matter linen trouser $198
Travis Taddeo freedom tshirt $80
Alex and Chloe key necklace $65
Speech rose stem necklace $165

Because some of this product is BRAND SPANKING NEW it has not yet made it onto the webstore.  If you’d like to order online/immediately just shoot us an email and we can take care of everything for you, info@upcboutique.com.

As always, the looks of the week are subject to a 10% discount.  Also, don’t forget that we offer FREE shipping in Canada!

Alex & Chloe

I absolutely ADORE accessories on women.  Pairing the right piece can almost make or break an outfit let alone make it unique unto itself.  I just love how an accessory can add a little bit of luxury to an otherwise basic outfit.  So with that we’ve decided to dedicate this weeks blog posts to the ‘art’ of the accessory.

One of the first brands we started carrying at the store was Alex & Chloe.  I can’t tell you how many pieces I personally own but one of my favourites are still the aviator glasses from S/S 2008!

We recently started receiving shipment of their new line of accessories and I have to say these are by far some of my favourites (fitting I would talk about them first).  A mixture of metal, steel, plastic, geometric shapes (triangles, keys, squares) there are just so many pieces that stand out from this collection.  What makes this collection so special is that there is such a great range between formal and dressed down.  I feel as though there is a piece for every occasion.

Prices range from $65 to $150 and we have limited stock.  We will try and get everything online by end of the week.  In the meantime drop by the store and we’ll put you into a virtual fashion show.  Dressing you head to toe!
