Thomas Casting//Parallels Shoot
We’ve been holding castings to find the perfect models for THOMAS‘ runway show and we thought we would share some of our favorites. Incidentally Maxime Brocken and Dwayne Kennedy (Plutino) were sharing the space creating a story featuring Parallels front-woman Holly. Parallels will be playing THOMAS’ post-presentation at the Social on March 25th.

Inspire us…
We’re feeling really uninspired these days by the fact that nothing much is going on in Toronto, its not really Spring yet and it kind of feels purgatory. We’ve taken to looking at some international blogs that photograph street style and keep seeing some incredible outfits on real people….somehow they make it look as though they’ve whipped the outfit together in under 5 minutes.
Where are these people in Toronto?! We see them walking into the store, picking up amazing pieces…but where do they go from here and how do they integrate those pieces into their wardrobe? We’ve decided to take our blog in an new direction, with camera in hand we’re seraching these people out and going to bombard them with questions about where else they get their clothes and how they’re putting them together.
For whoever is reading, who are you favorite local designers? Do you know anyone that dresses like they should be living in Paris or Berlin? We’d like to give them the attention they deserve.
Inspire us…throw us a line, we’re drowning!
new arrival// SESSUN
Inspired by a trip to Latin America and the stunning culture and craftsmanship; french label SESSUN was born. Designer Emma Francois wanted to offer women a substantial wardrobe rather than just a seasonal collection- where the clothes emphasize lines and the luxurious material used to make the garments. SESSUN is known for it’s cutting-edge approach to boho.
new arrival// DIEPPA RESTREPO
Inspired by classic gentleman’s style, Dieppa Restrepo is a sophisticated unisex collection of shoes founded by Colombian duo Andrea Vargas Dieppa and Elisa Restrepo. Blurring the division between the sexes, the collection is refined, androgynous and elegant. The shoe is the quintessential grown up sneaker: beautiful and simple enough for the chic and fashion-minded, yet comfortable and durable enough for their contemporary urban lifestyle. The shoe is a walking dichotomy, both non-intrusive and timeless, yet modern and undeniably present.
